Regal Restoration
Your Shield When Disaster Strikes
Our Team

Rob Akins is the Owner & General Manager of Regal Restoration, a family-owned, locally operated Colorado company. A Colorado native, Rob is driven by a simple mission: help customers navigate crises, restore their homes, and get life back to normal. He and his team work quickly and efficiently to IICRC standards, pairing clear communication with thorough documentation to guide clients through the sometimes-confusing insurance process and advocating for full, fair claim coverage whenever possible.
Rob loves that Regal Restoration is rooted in family and community. Outside of work, you’ll find him riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, and woodworking, or traveling and spending time with his children and extended family. He’s also a devoted dog dad—he loves his dogs—and proudly supports Pawsitive Restorations Animal Rescue (PRAR).

Kristie has proudly owned and managed Regal Restoration since 2018. As the Office Manager, she specializes in negotiating with insurance companies to ensure customer invoices are properly covered—removing stress from homeowners and helping them focus on getting life back to normal. Kristie is proud that Regal Restoration is family-owned and operated, with a strong commitment to making customers the top priority while serving the local community.
Outside of work, Kristie pours her heart into animal rescue as the Foster and Volunteer Director at Pawsitive Restorations Animal Rescue, where she also fosters dogs. A Colorado resident since 1998, she enjoys camping with her husband and dogs, spending time with her children, staying active through exercise, and traveling the world

Christopher is an IICRC-certified Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) and Odor Control Technician (OCT) with strong inspection experience. As Business Developer at our family-owned company, he focuses on building new relationships in the community and nurturing the ones we already have—so when disaster strikes, neighbors know exactly who to call. Clients and partners value his clear communication, prompt follow-through, and ability to connect people with the right help fast.
A Colorado native, Christopher spent the last seven years in Miami before returning home to support the family business. That time broadened his perspective on different building types, climates, and smoke/odor challenges, which he brings to each project and partnership.
Outside of work, Christopher enjoys playing pool and hitting the gym. Whether he’s on a walkthrough or meeting with a community partner, he brings the same focus, professionalism, and commitment to results.

Mike has spent the past six years helping families and property owners recover from unexpected losses in the restoration and mitigation industry. An IICRC–certified professional and Colorado-certified Asbestos Supervisor, he brings technical expertise, calm leadership, and clear communication to every project. What Mike values most is guiding clients through crises, explaining next steps, protecting their homes, and seeing the relief that comes when the job is done right.
Originally from California, Mike is all about family and rescue animals at home. He and his wife are proud parents to nine children and share their home with five rescue dogs, with plans to welcome more furry friends in the future (and maybe a cat someday). When he’s not on a job site, you’ll find Mike spending time with his family and their pack.

Noah has been working in the mitigation field for about a year and is already making his mark. He is a certified Lead Renovator and is currently working toward his mold certification. Noah enjoys learning the science behind mitigation, traveling across beautiful Colorado for projects, and most importantly, seeing the relief on customers’ faces when they realize they’re in good hands.
A Colorado native, Noah has lived here his whole life. At home, he shares life with his 13-year-old English Bulldog, Leia (yes, named after the Star Wars character). Outside of work, Noah stays active and creative. He wrestled all four years of high school and now spends his free time gaming, working out at the gym, enjoying Waldo’s chicken, or drawing.

Jessica provides essential office support at Regal Restoration, working closely with her mom, Kristie, to keep day-to-day operations organized and running smoothly. A Colorado native, she has spent the past three years supporting office workflows, documentation, and communication, helping ensure projects stay on track and clients receive timely, attentive service. Jessica takes pride in being a reliable point of support behind the scenes and contributing to a positive experience for both the team and customers.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys caring for her pet rabbits and helping Kristie with fostering dogs through Pawsitive Restorations Animal Rescue. She also loves spending time with her boyfriend, visiting local tea shops, thrifting, and exploring home design ideas.

Riley brings more than ten years of experience in the IT industry to Regal Restoration, where he supports the systems, technology, and data security that keep the company running smoothly. A Colorado native with a degree in Cybersecurity, Riley focuses on building reliable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that support both the team and the clients they serve. He takes pride in making complex systems work seamlessly behind the scenes so projects, communication, and documentation stay on track.
Outside of work, Riley enjoys spending time with family, exploring local breweries, and diving into both computer and board games. He and his spouse share their home with two dogs and appreciate everything Colorado has to offer, from good food and great games to relaxing with a good book.
